To better identify your phones around the office, you can change the name that appears on the actual device (i.e. “Front Desk” or “CEO”). Changing the name appearance on a device does not affect the caller ID. The way in which the name displays on the device depends on your specific phone model.
1. Log in at my.jive.com/PBX.
2. Click Devices in the left sidebar and then click the device that requires a new name appearance.
3. From the Device Settings tab > General Settings section, set the Station Label field to Use and then enter the desired label (name).
4. Click [SAVE].
5. Power cycle the phone to apply the changes.
