Blocking the caller ID on a phone number hides your information from the recipient by displaying it as private, restricted, or anonymous. This is useful in situations where you don’t want the recipient to know who is calling and the phone number from which you’re calling. In addition to outbound calls, enabling this setting will block the caller ID on all calls routed to an external number (e.g. Find Me/Follow Me, ring groups, dial plans, etc).
1. Log in at my.jive.com/PBX.
2. Click Phone Numbers in the left sidebar and then click the phone number whose caller ID is to appear as Private, Restricted, or Anonymous to recipients of all outbound calls.
If you only want to use this for a single call, just dial *67 + phone number from your phone.
3. From the General tab > Identity section, enable Block Caller ID.
4. Click [SAVE].
This setting can be overridden on a per-call basis by dialing *82 before the outbound number.
