This video demonstrates how to perform a command-line ping test on your wide area network (WAN) and local area network (LAN). It will also provide some helpful tips to try if you have problems with those.

To perform a command-line ping test, for Mac users, type the command ping.www.Google.com -c 200 in a Terminal window.

To perform a command-line ping test, for Windows users, type the command ping.www.Google.com -n 200 in a run box.
