Use GoTo transcriptions
Transcripts allow you to focus on your meeting, while GoTo Connect focuses on the note taking.
Note: Transcriptions are currently available in English, Spanish, Italian, and German.
Enable transcriptions (admins only)
- Sign in to the admin portal at https://admin.goto.com.
- Select People in the left navigation and then select Users or User groups depending on who you're enabling it for.
- Select , then enable Transcription.
Access and view transcriptions (organizers)
If you don't see this option, reach out to your account admin to make sure both cloud recording and transcriptions are enabled.
- Sign in to the GoTo web or desktop app.
- Select . Toggle Recorded to filter the recorded sessions.
- Select a meeting.
Results: The recording and transcript display.
Change transcription language
This feature is only available with cloud recording.
Results: Changes will be saved automatically.
Transcription features
- Download recording file: Download the transcript locally to your computer.
- View meeting diagnostics: View various data pieces of your session including what tools were used, session quality, participant details, and more. You'll be prompted to sign in before viewing this information.
- Delete the recording: Permanently delete your file as desired.
- View the transcript: View the transcript of the recorded session.
- Meeting info: View meeting details including meeting title, date, duration, talk time, and attendees.
- Chat: View the public chat transcript from the session.
- Notes: View notes taken during the session.
- Sharing: Enable link sharing, specify shared meeting content, copy share link, and set expiration date on share links.
- Download recording file: Another place to download the transcript locally to your computer.
- Edit transcription language: Select the desired language and then re-generate the transcription and meeting summary.
- Search in transcript: Search for keywords and key content using the search bar.
- Filters: View the transcript of a specific participant.
- Copy the transcript: Copy the full textual transcript by selecting the copy icon. Paste the copied text wherever.
- Meeting summary: Generate (or view if already generated) the AI overview of the recording. Learn more.
