Quickstart

Learn how to do the most common functions on your phone. For information not covered below, please refer to the manufacturer’s user guide.

Call Forwarding

Automatically forward incoming calls to an internal extension or external number.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Settings > Call Settings > Call Forward.
  3. Select the right account and then Call forward.
  4. Make sure Call Forward is toggled on.
  5. Select the desired forwarding type:
    • All: Forwards all incoming calls. (Unconditional)
    • Time Based: Forwards all incoming calls based on a set schedule.
    • No Answer: Forwards all unanswered incoming calls. (Others)
    • Busy: Forwards all incoming calls while you're in a call. (Others)
  6. Enter the internal extension or external number to which calls will be forwarded.
  7. If you selectedTime Based, enter the schedule for forwarding.
  8. Press the Save softkey.
What to do next: To disable call forwarding, repeat steps 1-4 and then toggle Off.

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Stop your phone from ringing and send all incoming calls directly to voicemail.

Calls are logged in your missed calls.
Press Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Do Not Disturb to enable/disable.

Voicemail Access

Check your voicemail from your phone.

  1. Dial *99.
  2. Dial your password (default 0000).
    Download your Voicemail Menu Guide.

Speed Dial

Assign regularly dialed numbers to additional line keys on your phone.

  1. Press Menu > Settings > Call Settings > Speed dial.
  2. Select the speed dial spot.
  3. Press Select.
  4. Select the desired contact or enter the information.
  5. Press Save.

3-Way Calls

Speak with two parties simultaneously by creating a mini-conference call on your line.

  1. While on an active call, press Options > Conference.
  2. Dial the internal extension or external number to add to the conference.
  3. Wait for the second party to answer, and then let them know that you would like to add them to a 3-way call.
  4. Press Join Conf.

Transfer A Call

Warm Transfer

Place a current call on hold and speak with the destination party before transferring the call.

  1. While on an active call, press Transfer.
  2. Dial the transfer destination (internal extension or external number).
  3. Select Attended.
  4. Speak to the destination party.
  5. Tap the Confirm softkey.

Blind Transfer

Transfer a call to another party without speaking to them first.

  1. While on an active call, press Transfer.
  2. Select Blind as the transfer mode.
  3. Dial the transfer destination (internal extension or external number).
    Tip: To transfer a call directly to voicemail, dial 0 + extension.

Hold

Place a call on hold while you take some time to look up an answer to a question or answer another call.

  1. Press Hold.
  2. Press Unhold to retrieve the call.

Modify Ringtone

Choose a new ringtone for your phone or assign a different ringtone to each of your lines.

  1. Press Menu.
  2. Select Settings > Basic Settings > Sound > Default Ringtone.
  3. Select the desired ringtone (highlight to sample ringtones).
  4. Press Save.
    Note: This device does support silent ringtones.

Provisioning

Before you begin:
  1. Verify you have created a device profile.
  2. Verify you have assigned the phone's MAC address to the device profile.
  3. Verify you have properly plugged in the phone.

From the Phone Menu

Learn how to provision your phone from the phone menu.

  1. Press Menu > Settings.
  2. Select Advanced Settings > System Upgrade > Config.
  3. Enter ‹domain›.onjive.com/p for the Config Server Path.
    Note: Replace ‹domain› with your unique domain (found in parentheses at the top of the admin dashboard).
  4. Press Save > Reboot > Ok.
    Note: Typically a firmware update will occur at this point. Due to the large file size, this could take some time to complete.
What to do next: If the phone doesn’t automatically reboot, power cycle the device to apply its provisioning settings.
