Quickstart

Learn how to do the most common functions on your phone. For information not covered below, please refer to the manufacturer’s user guide.

Call Forwarding

Automatically forward incoming calls to an internal extension or external number.

Press .
Select Call Features.
Select the desired forwarding type:
- All: Forwards all incoming calls.
- No Answer: Forwards all unanswered incoming calls.
- Busy: Forwards calls that arrive when you're already in a call.
Enter the internal extension or external number to which calls will be forwarded.
Press the Enable softkey.

Tip: While your phone rings, press the Forward softkey to forward the incoming call to another person.

What to do next: To disable call forwarding, repeat steps 1-3 and then select Disable.

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Stop your phone from ringing and send all incoming calls directly to voicemail.

Calls are logged in your missed calls.

When the phone is idle, press

to enable/disable.

Voicemail Access

Check your voicemail from your phone.

Dial .
Dial your password (default 0000).
Download your Voicemail Menu Guide.

Speed Dial

Assign regularly dialed numbers to additional line keys on your phone.

Please contact your system administrator regarding your speed dial assignments.

3-Way Calls

Speak with two parties simultaneously by creating a mini-conference call on your line.

While on an active call, press .
Dial the internal extension or external number to add to the conference.
Press .
Wait for the second party to answer, and then let them know that you would like to add them to a 3-way call.
Press .

Transfer A Call

Warm Transfer

Place a current call on hold and speak with the destination party before transferring the call.

Press an unprogrammed Line key to place the current call on hold and initiate a new call.
Dial the transfer destination (internal extension or external number).
Speak to the destination party.
Press the key and then press the flashing Line key of the call that is on hold.

Blind Transfer

Transfer a call to another party without speaking to them first.

While on an active call, press .
Dial the transfer destination (internal extension or external number).
Press the Transfer softkey.

Tip: To transfer a call directly to voicemail, dial 0 + extension.

Hold

Place a call on hold while you take some time to look up an answer to a question or answer another call.

Press .
Press the flashing Line key to retrieve the call.

Modify Ringtone

Choose a new ringtone for your phone or assign a different ringtone to each of your lines.

Press .
Select Preference > Ring Type.
Select the desired ringtone (highlight to sample ringtones).
Press .

Note: This device does not support silent ringtones.

Provisioning

Before you begin:

Verify you have created a device profile.
Verify you have assigned the phone's MAC address to the device profile.
Verify you have properly plugged in the phone.

From the Phone Menu

Learn how to provision your phone from the phone menu.

Press .
Select Status > Network Status and then write down the phone's IPv4 Address.
Open an incognito window in Google Chrome, type the IPv4 address into the address (URL) bar, and then press Enter on your keyboard.
Enter admin as the username and the password.
Go to Maintenance > Upgrade & Provisioning.
Enter ‹domain›.onjive.com/p for the Config Server Path.

Note: Replace ‹domain› with your unique domain (found in parentheses at the top of the admin dashboard).
Press Save and Apply > Reboot > Ok.

What to do next: If the phone doesn’t automatically reboot, power cycle the device to apply its provisioning settings.

Factory Reset

Factory resetting a phone is when you restore a device to its original factory settings. This will delete everything that was previously on the device.

Press the Menu button.
Select Config > Factory Reset > Ok.
Result: The phone will automatically reboot.
